What Previous Bike Or Bikes Do You Wish You'd Kept?

  1. My 2002 Rossi Replica CBR600FS. I absolutely loved this bike. I bought it new and put over 36k miles on it in the 4 years of ownership. I sold it because I was going abroad to live for a couple of years and despite getting almost the same money I had bought it for, I regretted it as soon as it went. 4292BF60-A475-46FB-A84E-6D6FD14C77F1.jpeg C6C51653-8F84-4FA2-9A9F-88656C18F5AE.jpeg

  2. When I bought my 2nd Ducati, a brand new 848, I sold my first one, a lovely(?) 400SS. I really wish I had kept it - it was slow, unreliable and didn’t handle that well BUT it was my first Ducati and looked gorgeous. I do hope it’s still being looked after and loved.

  7. Bike I regret selling the most was my BMW HP2 Sport. Quirky but great fun and really stood out from the crowd.

  8. Daytona 675SE in black and gold.

    Rode and handled beautifully.

I’ve only been riding 6 years but have had a few.

Started with a Velocette GTP, which led to a restoration of a 1930 HD Peashooter.

Then came the full licence and all sorts of temptation.

I PXd the Daytona for a Bonneville that I went all Shoreditch over. All turnups and checked shirts.

    Bad business.

  14. The two bikes I own today are the best I’ve ever had, the ones I’ve always dreamt of and probably the best I’ll ever own. I consider myself as one very lucky chap and will try and enjoy them as much and as long as I can, until I am physically not able to ride them anymore. And then what? Hopefully they’ll stay in the family. We’ll see. But in comparison to what I’ve owned before these (900Ssie, 848 Evo, 939SS), nothing even remotely compares…

  18. Lots of fond memories with motorcycles from the past, but i'm currently content with what i've today.
This thread should also include the ones that you regretted not purchasing.
