Now I know I could probably dig out my manual or even venture out to the garage and look! But to be honest I really can't be bothered to get off my backside and go look because I know someone will give me an even better answer  So here's the question, what exactly are the wheels on a 1200 mutley? The Ducati site just says they are light weight 10 spoke alloy, and I can't find anything on the web. I think I know the Pikes Peak has forged Marchesini wheels, but do the rest have cast Marchesini wheels..... I don't know!!! Over to those that are much wiser than me  Ta
Up until the latest batch (which have a similar appearance to the Panigale wheels), as far as I'm aware they're all cast alloy made by Enkei - even on the Pikes Peak.
Well I have been corrected for suggesting PPs have Marchesini pre 2013....but I am sure when I was looking at the spec on the Ducati website last year (2012 model..) that they WERE part of the spec. Maybe some of you have been sold short?
Now, as we're talking wheels, may I direct you to "Motowheels" in the US and look for the OZ Racing "Carlos Checa" Limited Edition rims. Absolute sex.
Interesting...of the 3 PPs I've seen in the flesh only one had Marchesinis, I assumed the owner had fitted them separately. The other 2 just had a red stripe on stock wheels. Confused? I should coco.
...and with egg on my face I retract my idiot response that my PP has Marchi's; it doesn't. I was channelling my 999 that does. Sincere apologies.
