Had a Scrambler till recently excellent bike PX for a Multistrada pick up a Scrambler Cafe Racer Friday i would have the Scrambler
Id go scrambler, im biased though. Having tested the newwer monsters i find my heel touches the exhaust a fair bit, something that put me off. i do ride with my toes/balls of feet on the pegs so dont know how it would feel with a mid foot position. As for the scrambler, i cant fault it, theres a lot whi say the seat is too hard but ive found after a while it breaks in nicely, either that or my arse is getting more cushioned!
I must admit the more I look at it, the Scrambler Desert Sled is catching my eye. I'm not sure though if it's because it looks like my old Yam XT
I nearly bought a 6 month old full throttle today with 117 miles on the clock. In the end I decided it was too early as it will be last week of September before I am back riding. For a few days it seemed too good a bike to miss as it would have made an empty garage feel better during the summer. Love the desert sled but the high seat makes getting my old leg over difficult. I was struggling with my Multistrada last year so the next bike has to be lower.
Had a 696 and an FT, now have a DVT and a cafe racer on order (now arrived a dealer) loved the FT it put a smile on my face every time I ride it, love the look of the Cafe Racer and I'll be keeping this one
