So, the 750 is looking more like a project now. This is her last weekend, and it's now just an engine in a frame. Every other bloody nut, fastener etc. was seized or rounded but no major disasters so far: Speaking of the frame, what is this bracket/tab for (the one behind the lhs rear footrest/hanger mounting points)? I have two frames, and it's on both so I assume it's supposed to be there. And would I miss it if I hacked it off? Mick..
Helmet lock.........normally fitted to the USA 900 versions.........Part No. 598.4.005.1A Some UK models had them, many didn't. A damn sight better than the stoopid bits of wire under the seat like wot are on my '97 SS. ........and if you don't have one, you try finding one!
Is that a photo of my bike Al!! I'm lucky, both of mine have the helmet lock and they both work. Cant use them though as the helmet sits on the hot zorsts.
OK.......I'll re-phrase it........... You try finding one for your bike when you haven't got one...... They probably didn't fit them in the end because of the zorst issue.........My frame has never had a bolt run into that thread
helmet lock.. never even thought of that. Cheers boys. Not used a helmet lock in 21 years of riding, so don't intend to start now (even if I could find one). Angle grinder here we come... Mick..
