right sorting wiring on bike and found this tucked up behind headlight ok so bike is a 99 model supersport injection model so checked wiring diagram in owners manual and only thing i can find is air temp sensor but not sure so where does it belong looks like it should be bolted somewhere ...........
Yep, looks similar to the air temp sensor on my 1098s but the "bulb" on the end has been broken. On my bike it fits behind the headlight, so it's in the right area.
There should be a rubber grommet that it pushes into (see parts drawing) but it is broken as per the last photo
ahh so it is air temp sensor cheers guys thought it looked broken wasnt sure where it should be well thats another peice of the puzzle sorted lol
