  1. 6A36EFD5-BD34-4041-9260-454AD1C372AA.jpeg Ive bought a titanium combined nut&cone for the rear wheel/axle. It weighs 148gm. Anyone know what the o/e separate steel nut&cone weighs? Ta.

  3. 10kg. Probably. Why don't you whip it off while the scales are fired up?

It's only really worth bothering about if you change every single faster to Ti. Even then the overall weight saving probably won't add up to a morning dump.

  6. The swingarm is at dealers. So will get them to take it off at some point.

  7. Trouble with that nut, is that the cone is part of it and will gall into the wheel as it is torqued up.

On the orig set up, the cone spacer remains stationary when the nut is tightened

  8. Seems that it would but ive fitted these titanium nuts to the rear of the 1098 sfs and with a dab of grease it doesn't even so much as mark it, Torques up nicely, Had it of a few times now, Tbh the weight saving isn't worth speaking about, I just changed mine as I liked the look of them and my r/h one had a very small discoloured part that annoyed me :D
