Wheel refurbishment

  1. Hi all, looking to refurb these wheels and was wandering if anyone can be recommended around Bristol. Going to keep them gold but not as bright!. So the powder which has seen better days will need stripping and then be redone. If I cant get a decent gold it will be charcoal to match the carbon colour.

  2. Steve Turner, Sells Green, Melksham, SN12 6RJ. Trades under TPCS and specialises in magnesium alloy but does all types of vehicle wheels. He is my first point of contact for all powder coating jobs. You can text him on his mobile 07840628300 and he tends to start work (very) early and finishes around 13:00 ish. Andy

  5. How much did it cost bud if you don't mind me asking :)

If its going to cost too much im going to stick the original wheels back on and sell these ones on. :(

  6. I think it was £100 for a pair of wheels, that was old paint removed then re done.

  7. Griff's Reality Motorworks, index Unit D3 · Avondale Works, Woodland Way, Kingswood, Bristol BS15 1PA, have done my wheels and a frame previously - very good quality and service. £65 per wheel regardless of finish/colour, they've loads to choose from and can colour match too, including candy colours.

They specialise in bikes and can do all sorts of other engineering work too if you need it.
