On top of my little medical issues, Mrs AL has had a couple of her own which we thought were party behind us..................... .............had to call the ambulance for her and she's now in t'ospital probably due for exploratory ops tomorrow.......... ........I must have been a right b*****d in my previous life............I probably beheaded John the Baptist or hammered the nails into Jesus's cross........... .....I can't think what else it could be, unless I had warts and had Charles I beheaded.......... I feel your pain mate. 2013 has been horrific. My mum had a hip replacement 2 months ago and is struggling a bit. My dad has lost 3st in three months and no one knows why...although he has been told nothing sinister. My mother in law dropped dead suddenly at the end of July. My father in law was diagnosed with cancer in August and died last Thursday....(never in a million years did I think I would be wiping his arse in the last month of his life but I was). Add to that, my job is giving me a hard time (new manager who does not like me) and I will truly be glad to see the back of this year! Hope all goes well with your missus.

Ta everyone.........she has just been knocked out for exploratory surgery...........a scan showed up an inflamed appendix, but there seems to be something else wrong and they are wondering if it is linked to her recent major surgery..........I bet some dick of a surgeon left a bl**dy torque wrench in there..... Well.........touch wood, that went OK....she's still dippy from the KO................Appendix almost past the point of bursting..........Phew! So that's out now............at the rate she's going, they will have her completely scooped out by Christmas..... .......wonder if you can get really large packets of Paxo (I don't mean Jeremy, either) Thanks for the thoughts....it takes a bit of pressure off I think..... Al, good news, my appendix got to the point of bursting 2 years ago, the fact she hasn't complained says more about your wife than it does about blokes . Its a snip, removal and out mate, besides which it is a primeval organ that we no longer require. Happy days. Sun is starting to shine. Good luck.
