  2. Could it be from the oil cooler mounting.

  3. Not had the oil cooler off but had removed the tank, all fairings, head lights, air box, forks, seat, throttle bodies, chain, and callipers.

  4. Front of airbox mounting pin hole. Where the front of the tank locates.

  5. Is the air box/ fuel tank rubber not bell mouthed?

  6. He means the locating pin right at the front of the tank

Number 33, you could be right with the bell mouth, I'm just going on memory.

  10. If there is only one. It’s not that. But agree it looks like it.

  11. Rear of fuel tank mounting

Think the rear tank fixing is a different shape.

  13. Agree with above but could also be fuse box rubbers or damper in battery tray. Depends what you may have disturbed for access. I think a lot of these could well be the same part. Can't imagine them falling out though.

  14. I agree with Ian, may be 76410841A (used to be 079772068) and according to the fiches is used in a number of locations on the 748/916 as well as some places in STs, 749/999, 888, 907. Listed as a vibration damper for the headlight (2) , for the battery box(2), for the coils(4)

  15. I agree with the fuel vent/drain pipe grommet. Pic above, where the pipe comes down near to the oil cooler.

  16. It's from the air box.

  17. Did this get sorted? there's so many threads that don't have an ending.

  18. Not yet, the rubber is larger than the fuel breather, different to to the rear petrol tank mount, not the petrol tank/ air box locator.
Will be looking again over the weekend.

After a brief impromptu stop for fuel.
