Just pondering. I purchased a GoPro alike a couple of months back with lots of fittings but can't work out where to fit it to the bike. I realise some fit them behind the screen but having a dark smoke screen that's out. On my previous gixxer I fitted a camera to the offside fairing about half way down but am loathed to stick the 3m pad on the expensive ducati fairing. Anyone fitted theirs on anything else? I don't want to stick the 3m pad on my new lid either.
Just ride like a twat and turn yourself in to the local police station at the end of it. Cut out the "middle man" so to speak
I have one of these on my 959. Looks like a 1098 in your profile, so linked to one for that. I painted mine Black so it blends in, but the advantage is you can just swap it out if you don't want it... Ducati 1098 1198 848 Camera Mounting Kit track day race fits GoPro Hero | eBay
Thanks guys, trouble is I have a dark smoked screen. Do the 3M adhesive pads come off without damaging the paintwork ?

I have this and so far it's been fine. No one tells you to push the sucker down first then push the clamp. Been fine at all legal speeds *cough*
Looking at this one, could it perhaps be fitted/sucked onto a screen, I have a Diavel with a relatively flat (ish) screen so that looks ideal. stuart
I think it would definitely need to be quite flat. Once it's on, it's like a limpet. Some people reviewed it on Amazon and said it fell off. I think they've tried round panels or not put it on properly. One thing about putting it on your fairing is that they of course vibrate a bit especially on bumpy roads. Tank is better if you can. Cheers. G
I just bought this set from a major internet retailer - I'll probably not use 70% of the fittings, but it would be fun thinking of where I could mount some attachments (maybe under the foot pegs? ). Mounts seem very sturdy and tough... https://www.amazon.co.uk/Zookki-Accessories-Accessory-Parachuting-Swimming/dp/B00ZELEKIS/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1471635790&sr=8-4&keywords=go pro kits
Purchased one of these from Argos the other day. They are on offer at the moment. http://www.argos.co.uk/m/static/Product/partNumber/4995692.htm Also bought this which helps get the fixings super tight without the need to carry a screwdriver round with you. http://www.argos.co.uk/m/static/Search/searchTerm/GoPro+tool.htm
I lost one of the GoPro sucker mounts off of the (very slab/flat sided) door of Dodge Challenger. I would very definitely utilise some sort of tether if using one of them.
