Which front stand ?

  1. Looking to buy a front paddock stand for my 749r with the Ohlins front forks.

Main use will be over winter storage, I'd like to get the weight off the front tyre while it's stood for a few months.

    Whats recommended?

The one with the pins that locate in the bottom of the fork legs, the one that has a plate and pins that fit under and behind the fork bottoms, or, the one with that holds the tyre (albeit, this type does not overcome fixed pressure point on the tyre for an extended time)

Interested to see what others use.

  2. pins under the fork legs rather than the crappy plate that they fall off of........................what about a harris under yoke proper jobbie as you have an elite 749r thatll have the facility on the yoke for it.

  3. +1 for the headstock one. That would take the weight off the forks too!
