Which NGK?

  1. Trying to get hold of a standard NGK plug for my 97' 748 but not exactly certain which one.
    Went to GT Motorcycles in Plymouth and after much discussion, I''d have to pop back later as they weren't to sure. (not bad from a Ducati dealer!!)
    I'm told that there Isn't a 9 rated plug without a removable end cap.
    I've also been told that a Nippon plug is best suited for the Ducati. Is this true??

  3. Im running [FONT=verdana, geneva, lucida, lucida grande, arial, helvetica, sans-serif]DR9EA NGK in my SS, recommended by C.cycleworks for use with their hi-output coils? Removable tops... [/FONT]:upyeah:

  4. DCPR9E is correct. You don't need a removable cap though unless you've switched the leads..

  5. I've personally not changed them but maybe they have done then?? Capped plugs do not fit.

  6. Check they haven't got the old caps still stuck in there. If they came loose and came off when the plug caps were pulled off, then they won't fit properly..
