Was just wondering if any other ducati model digital dash would fit my 900 2004ssie without too much messing with wiring or has anyone fitted anything else and could suggest something that would do the job. I fancy something a bit more up to date that's all.
Erm 2004 it should be DS then so 1000DS right. So this one late register 900ssie so do not think any immobiliser.
Yup very late registered 23/6/2004 has No immobiliser, no alarms, a speedo, revcounter and a temp gauge and it has 5 spoke wheels
The speedo drive looks to goto the front wheel and the speedo is just a needle on a round dial same as the rev counter.
Any Ducati 98-02 dash (monster, ST, 748/916) with 25mm front axle with speedo drive, and electronic rev counter should work but you probably will have to rewire idiot lights/switch gear connections etc. Later bikes with electronic speedo, air cooled Multi, Sport Classic etc are all coded so no good.
