  1. hi.i want to fit a new pressure plate and cover.any recommendations

  2. I've just had to get a Barnet pressure plate to go with the basket, plates etc. An expense I want expecting, but in for a penny etc

  3. I use a DP pressure plate with an old skool moto cinelli cover and am very happy with both, the general consensus is avoid carbon covers as they offer little (if any) protection in the event of an off.

  4. thanks guys

  5. Yep. Buy a new pressure plate and cover, then fit it. :upyeah:

  6. I have seen the Oberon ones and they look really nice and well made, they offer two and say that one allows the engine to spin up faster and the other more torque so obviously weigh differently, not sure if you would notice the difference but they look nice. They also do some nice covers but I prefer the Y-spoke type to match the wheels on my 1198.

  7. I might be wrong....

i think the only real difference is some have vented areas to cool the clutch, others are just smooth and not vented as such

ive never notice any difference in torque to be honest

  8. thats very funny e.t. think i'll probably do that

  9. Just browse eblag, there's zillions on there to buy or just get ideas....:upyeah:

  10. loads on flea bay

picked up a ducati performance pressure plate in mint condition about £30

  11. I got Avanti race parts open cover, pressure plate, springs and retainers and really rate them. Speak to Antonye on this site, Im sure he will sort you out.
