Hi. Can someone help me identify what shock this is? Its on my 748BiP, but I don't think it's the original one as the adjusters don't match the pics or what is written in the Owner's manual (for example, it says default compression is 1 turn out from full, but mine clicks, and has 25 positions). There's no writing on it that I can see apart from 'Ducati' in the casting near the compression adjuster. Thanks.
that looks like a Sachs model, off the 748e bike, although I haven't seen it with the Ducati writing on before. The Showa's have a darker gas resevoir and I believe a flat head screw adjuster at the top not a plastic turn wheel. The Ohlins are, well... Gold.
