  1. I am looking for some recommendations for a tool set,/tools i will need to keep my monster happy, this will just be for checking everthing is tight/torqued up, and for adjusting chain etc,

  2. Jeybus you need to space things out.

I'd go with sealey chain rivet tool which is a D.I.D ripoff. You can get the same thing from machine mart for nigh on £100. You might want to invest in a decent digital caliper also; mitutoyo 6".

Buy the most high quality kit you can afford, so it lasts a life-time.

  3. Most of my tools are Halfords Professional, decent quality and sensible prices. 3/8 socket set is ideal for Bike stuff

  4. And if you upgrade your forum subscription by the princely sum of £15 to include a Halfords card you will save a shit load too. The card will pay for itself in no time :)

  5. For everyday tinkering I absolutely love this little kit...

Most things can be accomplished with it, and with the discount card it is a steal. Very versatile and handy.
