  1. Just about to buy a new 899 in white. Love the finish but what's it like to live with? How do you keep it clean and shiny? If you have ventureshield, what type? Matt?
    Any info greatly appreciated.

  2. I got the dealer to put ventureshield on my PAJ before I collected it. Works a treat.

  3. I put the matt ventureshield on mine myself. Where it doesn't cover you can just wash it as normal. In my experience so far it actually scratches less than normal paint. Haven't waxed it or anything because I don't actually think it needs it to be honest.

  4. Cheers lads. Think I'll ask dealer to fit it. How much?

  5. Think the going rate is about £250 for the full kit fitted... If you buy a full kit and fit yourself it's £90, so a pretty big difference.

  6. Hmmm. Think I would fuck it up. Put something similar on my mountain bike and the top tube looks like an aero.

  7. Hahaha. Think it's a bit easier because there's more flat bits but if you're happy getting it done then why not! [emoji4]

  8. I'd rather save the money, but want the bike to maintain its "I'm the best looking bike ever" look. Add "ever ever ever" :D

  9. Can't see my ventureshield without getting close to it. Even then you have to run a finger over it to see where it stops.

  10. Unlucky, I have the best looking bike ever, just keep changing my mind which one it is ;)

  11. Yep know that feeling. :upyeah:

  12. I've got it on my (red) bike, can't comment on white but I like it on mine because it's on all the contact surfaces like under the rear brake and gear levers where the fairing goes behind and my boot would rub. Also agree with others, u can't see it unless u are 6 inches away
