Where’s the next generation of leather craftspeople? Recently, Nine Lives did some (excellent as usual) work for me. But Chris is only doing leathers part-time now, and it made me wonder if we’ll have a next generation of leather experts. I hope we’ve many more years of Hideout and BKS leathers, but what happens when Kate and Brian eventually retire? Is there a next generation of British manufacturers? I guess Scott Leathers will hand over to the next family generation?
