ok , so things moving on and now looking at doing the belts myself on the ducati 749.Which make of belt do we recommend, and best prices to pay? Also, fuel economy ,how many miles to a tank full ,road riding(steady) ,and how many miles left when the fuel light comes on?

I ended up at California Cycleworks, after getting the 999 but before joining Ducati Forum, for the vids on changing the belts. Also this - as they say "a non-scientific" test: I've got a set awaiting belt service time.
