  2. Bought a 916 biposto new in Oct 97 and did about 45000 in 7 years, then a Range Rover rear-ended us. Sold it to a mate for trackday use, maybe still out there somewhere, R997EDO.
Current SPS had just under 10000 on when I bought it in Apr 2005, now on 47250.

  4. R997EDO is shown as SORN with no MOT history...

  5. Maybe still on trackday duties, or been broken for parts?
It had 4 MOTs while I had it.

  6. Just goes to show what they can do if looked after :upyeah:

  7. My 2002 748 just clocked up 65,000 km. Everything is working fine but the engine doesn't feel as fresh as it used to. So I have a rebuilt 916 to "slip in" some time soon. I also bought a speedo with 7225 km showing ;)

  9. Saw a 916 the other week at the tea hut in epping forest had 36,000 and a few years ago was talking to the owner of another 916 which had 93,000,

  10. I bought my 916 new and it has now done just a few miles short of 50k.

  11. I have a paltry 24k on my 98 916 bip

  12. I bought my first Ducati second hand in Paris.
748 with 45k Km’s on it. I racked up another 10k and then it blew up (metaphorically) on its (and my) first trackday .

  14. Over 41k miles on my MY02 748S, only 1 rocker so far and doing around 1500-2000 miles per year (since I got the 999) the mileage continues to creep up however as the 748 is more involving to drive.

  15. I've got a 748 racing and I've plenty of miles on me..... nicely worn in.

  16. My 2000 model 748 has just clicked over the 66000km mark. Was wondering about an 853 rebuild on it and have a Speedo with 0 km on it if I do. Doesn't get ridden as much now as have the 1098.

  17. Not sure if my ST4 counts (it's a 916 engine with different heads which are also found on some 748's so a cross section perhaps...?)
Anyway, a disappointing 10,000 miles in 17 years - I'll get me coat

  18. Ive did 18k on my old 1198 and now on 8k on my 1299S, so that relieved pressure on 916

  19. Fair point well made - I still win on most paltry mileage :bucktooth:

  20. I can beat that, out of the 4500 on my 916 I've only done 1000 of them. I've owned it since 2009. :(
