Hello, I posted the same thread in Ducati.ms, However since I am willing to have this work done not just from USA but also from Europe/UK, I want to ask for help from the UK forum member about: Who is the best shop for Cylinder Head Porting and Polishing in Europe/UK that perform the Cylinder head porting and polishing in their own shop (not subcontract the work to outside shop). I was recommended to contact: a. Toine from Biggelaar Performance in Netherlands b. John Hacket Performance in UK (Ducati Coventry) c. Ducati Kaemnna Please share if you have experience with the 3 shops above for Cylinder Head Porting and Polishing Specifically for 2005/2006 999S engine? Also, any other shops you can recommend? Thank you in advance.
Yep Luigi has done loads of this type of work. The Dutch guy has an awesome rep and does loads of race bikes and specials.
Im in the vicinity of Biggelaar. Opinions are personal, some swear with porting others don’t. I often heard that if its tuned bij Biggelaar they don’t want the bike, mostly dealerships for a trade in. Well its simple, we don't get to do any business. Both my 998s went their and its all perfect. An honest before dyno run and after. Mine went from 132 -> 147hp and those are rwhp. You can send your head alone and they will port them, keep in mind you still need to reprogram the ecu on the test bench. Good luck!
