Belting around at what was probably about 300feet............(Job to judge distance without anything to go by)........was this noisy little b*gger.............. .........seemed to have a huge range, so I doubt if it was conventional RC......... The plane looked to be larger than this but the shape and colours were very similar.....at a guess it was about 8ft span.... Would this sort of thing be something a private individual owned........seems like some cost over £40K
did you catch it in your butterfly net? Quite possibly an individual, there is a growing enthusiasm ( according to my brother, who has several helicopters, and bought me one for xmas) in the helicopter, quadcopter and other variants, for fun, some of which do go into the £thousands. some do have a range of a couple of miles.
