Quick couple of questions guys..... Will a 959 front mudguard fit an 1199? Will the heat shield fit too?
959 is black plastic, still dont know which heat shield you are talking about though, where is it fitted?
Ah sorry, I get what you're asking now. It's the underseat black plastic shield that covers the rear cylinder exhaust loop
I'm sure that isn't right. 959 and 1299 have exactly the same headers. The shield on my 1299 looks the same as the 959 I had.
It's the same - my 1299 system came with a heat shield and it's the same as what was already on They weigh an absolute shed load. Couldn't believe how heavy they are but obviously need a lot of insulation

899/1199 heat shields bolt onto the exhaust,1299 bolts onto the rear subframe,the 1299 heatshield should work on a 1199 but you may well have to drill a hole to make it work,899/959 subframes are steel tube and the 1199/1299 are cast ali.
