  1. Quick couple of questions guys.....

Will a 959 front mudguard fit an 1199?

Will the heat shield fit too?

  2. Yes mudguards all same fitment 899-959-1199-1299
    which heatshield?

  3. thanks @bolds

    959 heatsheild on 1199?

Is the 959 front muddy Carbon as original?

  4. 959 is black plastic, still dont know which heat shield you are talking about though, where is it fitted?

  5. Ah sorry, I get what you're asking now. It's the underseat black plastic shield that covers the rear cylinder exhaust loop

  6. No 959/1299 has different heat guard set up

  7. 1199/959 heat guards are different. 959 is bigger (comes out further under the tail).

  8. I'm sure that isn't right. 959 and 1299 have exactly the same headers. The shield on my 1299 looks the same as the 959 I had.

  9. It's the same - my 1299 system came with a heat shield and it's the same as what was already on

They weigh an absolute shed load. Couldn't believe how heavy they are but obviously need a lot of insulation

  10. Thanks everyone for taking the time to reply. I know, or think, the 1299/959 ones are the same, but will they fit the 1199?

  11. 899/1199 heat shields bolt onto the exhaust,1299 bolts onto the rear subframe, the 1299 heatshield should work on a 1199 but you may well have to drill a hole to make it work,899/959 subframes are steel tube and the 1199/1299 are cast ali.

  12. Great info, thank you!

I'll try to get looking at a 1299 to check sensor placement etc.

  13. sorry i meant they were the same as each other (959-1299) but different to 1199
