Will Beckham Make The Triumph Scrambler The New Gs1200?

  1. I personally have a lot of time for David Beckham. I had heard that he was part of some wanky celebrity bike club in LA but thought that his riding would be strictly for pose value. But when I saw this, David Beckham Into The Unknown pictures: First look at documentary sees Becks get on his bike - 3am & Mirror Online, I thought fair play to him. As probably the most famous man in the world, having his image next to a motorcycle is priceless marketing. Triumph must be wetting their pants hoping that all the hipsters are gonna travel round the world on their Scramblers instead of GS's. Let's hope he gets involved with Riders for Health.

  2. Quite fancy a Scrambler, bit of customisation and they look great ! :upyeah:

  3. IMO, its highly unlikely

  4. He does kinda suit the image. And image is everything innit. ;)

  7. nah! i'v started to distance my self already. and when did beckham start speaking proper england?

  8. Fair play to him. Made plenty of cash but does seem to do a lot for charidee. Guessing his interest stems from posing with one at the opening of the belstaff shop in London

  9. Fin, Scotland hasnt produced a decent footballer since Kenny.

  10. boots, England hasn't produced a decent person since churchil. :p

  13. If anything I hope that it brings more people into biking. The scrambler is a great little bike, fun without having a million hp and steam engine torque.

They do look cracking with a few tweaks too, triumph must be over the moon! They had a thing on Facebook the other day banging on about Ryan Reynolds and his Thruxton as well.

  14. He was scouse though.

  15. Being Scouse just adds to his greatness. After all look how far he got without a perm, tracky and pair of Sambas.

  16. and a scooter.

  17. I like those scramblers. Theyre funky. Whilst DB was a Manc scum player i hated him. Only that football hate, that exists only for 90mins, sat afternoons. But now I have some time for him. He's a likeable chap.

  18. probably a better bike to go touring "off road" when you see what the use elsewhere,
