  1. Is anyone managing to get their SS pumping out the ponies this winter time?

  2. I assume you are talking carby SS's, not those grubby awful Ie's (like wot I got :) ).

  6. I would be if it wasn't so damn cold and there wasn't patches of ice on the road; and the roads were dry and it wasn't raining..........

  7. Carbs ice up below 10c anyway...

  8. I am fortunate to have carb heaters that actually work, though.............so if I was brave, I could give it a whirl...........but I'm not.

  9. too cold too wet and too bleedin' icy.

  10. My superior-to-carby IE is having some mods done. New high mount terms are touching the swing arm on the right so I am looking for a right bender to sort them. Also got the late plastic headlight to fit and finally a Koso clock.

  16. True I sometimes wonder why it needs to be an enduro. A 70s dt175 would just as well really. Except they are silly money now

  17. sorry to say I aint brave enough this weather plays havoc with my knees ...wrists elbows well everything
never used to be a fair weather rider
