  1. my multi wont idle again ,the dealers put it on the computer couldn't fix it ,he stated its showing 1200 rpm but fails to stay there he tried to advance it and other things could'nt do it . when i get it really warm and close the throttle gentle it just idles at 1000rpm now and then ,i checked and cleaned two earths the one to the bottom of oil cooler and the main one to the engine.
    any other ideas?

  2. tps what is that excuse my techno ignorance

  3. Check the connection to the stepper motor isn't corroded.

  4. Throttle Position Sensor. Integrated into the throttle body assembly. I suspect Cranker is suggesting it may need resetting.

  5. Hi Paul,

TPS is the throttle position sensor and is used to tell the ECU (electronic control unit) the current position of the throttle body butterfly valve so that the correct amount of fuel (map) can be used. It is very sensitive and can sometimes go out of spec which can cause a raft of problems. I'm not sure that is the case here but it may be worth looking into.

  6. were is the stepper motor ?

  7. Look for an electrical connector plug on the throttle bodies. Basically it replaced the cold start lever, so bumps up the revs when the bike is cold.

  8. might try different dealer tomorrow

  9. I've heard good things about rosso corse in london, if you get in with them?

  10. pro twins godstone, i think, just looked them up not far from me
