10,000 deaths from gun-related crime every year. Over 350 mass killings (where more than three people died) already this year. What's not to like ? (That's 27 gun related deaths every single day...)
I have seen it all now! There is no hope for these people.I had 4 12 gauge shotguns 20 + years ago but when my son started showing an unhealthy interest in guns I sold all four to a dealer and never renewed my licence.It was always in my head - the worry that one day he would find the key to my secure gun cabinet to show them to his mates? Happens every day in USA with tragic consequences

It always amuses me when they say "it's in the constitution, you can't change it..." Really ? Why is it called the second amendment then ? Surely that's what amendment means...
Yes the USA constitution (including the amendments to it) can indeed be amended and 27 amendments have taken effect since 1790. This requires to be passed by two-thirds of the Senate, plus two-thirds of the House of Representatives, plus three-quarters of the 50 States (i.e. 38 States) to approve the proposed amendment. Is that going to be achieved regarding firearms any time soon? Not a hope in hell.
