Wsb Phillip Island - Spoilers

  1. A fine end to the season - AB two wins.
Excellent ride in the Sprint race that showed he has the cojones that are worthy of a One Time Champion.

  2. Not sure if anyone else picked up on the SuperSport commentary but I was disgusted to hear that idiot Toseland diminish Aegeter’s defence of his title by saying ‘well, he only beat a rooky’. What an absolute tosser. Awesome ride by AB in the sprint race, acknowledged by JR and dismissed by TR. The podium presentation was a picture, AB all smiles, TR with a face like thunder and JR truly disappointed. Andy

  3. Also fed up with the amount of glee from JT commentary when Lowes "went around the outside of Bautista... How embarrassing...!!"

  4. I've not seen it as yet, but a fantastic season for Ducati & Bautista, the rest of the field will moan forever regarding the Ducati straightline speed etc, but hey that's racing for you............do we really want one man winning year in, year out.?

    Yes exactly.

  5. Unfortunately my sky box only recorded the first 30 min then dumped it just as the race was starting :sob:

  6. Toseland is a tosser. He voice grates, his insight is crap. And seems to think straightline speed is what wins races…. Hoping he’s dumped for 2023 but bet he won’t be. Hodgson could be hard to listen too, again it’s his voice! But he has personality and is amusing with quips here and there. Tossland just isn’t: he’s a metro-gnome ;)

  7. Perhaps a one way ticket to Casablanca, play it again James....:joy:

  8. They also need to dump Greg Haines as well. Andy

  9. I cant stand turkey teeth.

Gav on Moto Gp is bordering on mild irritation now too. Says something to make a point and then goes "buuuuuuut" and then contradicts/covers himself every fucking time.

Bring back Moto GP Jules and Keef imo.

  10. Not sure why, or how for that matter, Gavin Emmett ever got the job in the first place. Andy

  11. Hard to find much info on him but he hosts the big end of season awards doesnt he so he must have been scratching someone's back somewhere down the line.
My memory of him is as a pit lane reporter like "Nat" is now back in the day.
I imagine he was promoted to bring a fresher faced/younger look to it all after K&J.

  12. The commentary seems to get worse round by round IMHO, one of this weeks epics was Greg Haines 'highlight of the season' being when six times world champion Jonathan Rae took Bautista out at Magny Cours.

Great sprint race though, will he, won't he, etc
