As Mr R says, looks fugly, but might give some gains. I did some sums years ago on exhausts for the 996, from what I remember a 22 inch long un-silenced pipe of just under 2 inches was the shortest ideal length and we all know standard systems are longer than that. Of course you could always use 44 inch long as it's all to do with pressure wave lengths of the gas in the pipe and blah blah blah. Another useless bit of info from the depths of my mind. But if someone knows a bored pipe bender who wants to give it a go, I'm happy to use my bike as a guinea pig and pay for the dyno time to see the results. Be worth it just to hear it.
