Hi all, bought an X lite 802 r three months ago from the sportsbike shop via eBay, the helmet has had light use, not used to commute etc, just the odd Sunday riding, never been dropped etc, but I noticed today that the paint has lifted just above the bottom rubber trim Anyone dealt with the sportsbike shop, regarding returning an item? Where do I stand, am I likely to get a new helmet out of them, or am I better off dealing with Nolan/ X lite direct ? Cheers
I have an X Litr Ago rep. The paint has peeled above the visor area around the vents. Quite a bit missing. Where the paint has gone it's clear the surface was never prepped, it's a pristine shiny white helmet underneath. I suspect it's one of the ways Nolan can keep their prices lower than the competition
