The Racesafe marshals and medical staff train very hard to deal effectively with an incident like that but it’s not the ending to the day anyone would want. No lives lost this time and hopefully both injured riders will fully recover from their injuries. Andy
Are you allowed to say what was going on? It looked like he was lifeless at one point although tbf to eurosport they did cut away pretty quickly.
I think it would be indiscreet to go in to any detail and I believe the incident is currently undergoing formal review which means any of the responders could be called to give a witness statement. Andy
It’s on YT if you’re that way inclined. Although there where other riders involved the impact kind of reminded me of 93s horror crash at Motegi the way he was slapped him into the ground.
