Xbox One Or Ps4

I've got an Xbox one only because my friends do too. Otherwise it would have been a PS4. A friend of mine with both said the Playstation is streets ahead.

 

My kids prefer the ps4 (aged 15 and 10), if that helps any. I don't touch any of that stuff so tend to rely on them for tech buying these days.

 

Ive never been a fan of the xbox. We've got a ps3 and a ps4. The kids love them. Im a big fan of the wiu though. My vita works great with the ps4 too. I can sit in bed and still play the ps4 on my vita

been playing doom on the jaguar of late.

 

Wow the Jaguar. I remember those Im playing Lego Marvel Superheroes on the PS3. Childish, but bloody brilliant

 

I love my Xbox ONE, is it better than a PS4? No, but its certainly not worse. I prefer it though because of all the other bits and pieces it does

I got my PS4 as a Christmas treat for myself, because I thought the Mad Max game was meant to be released "soon", but now it's been pushed back to 2015.

Bought 'Call of Duty: Ghosts' when I first got it, because I needed to get something to play. The last FPS I bought was Unreal Tournament 2003... things have changed a bit, haven't they? Enjoying it though, even if I do keep getting shot to bits by eight year olds.

Quite like the look of 'The Order: 1886', but that's delayed until 2015 too. Guess that gives me plenty of time to work on my shoot-em-up skills...

 

High end water cooled PC. Blows ps4 xbox etc out of the water.

 

What sort of price, though?

I gave up on the PC 'arms race' years ago.

Probably less than 1k. Most of that is parts and most would be the 2x 4Gb GPU's. I build my own pc's. I watercool my cpu and crank it up till its reliable. Twas a 3.4GHz i7 cpu but its happily going at 5GHz. But I am due a CPU upgrade as its about 18mnths since i last did it. I dont buy the latest stuff, i buy 6mnth old new stuff.

I happily run all games on Ultra. BF4 looks ace. Currently playing through Wolfenstein: New Order. Tis okay.

Fave game of recent times is Deus Ex:HR. I prefer singleplayer games. I'm too old and slow for multiplayer. Damn kids kick my ass.

 

That damn game. I used to play that as a stoodie. Till the wee small hours. Those noises still make the hairs on my neck stand up. Loved that game.

 

its the best, think games have lost something the better the graphics get

 

Play Deus Ex:HR. I play it by stealth. Using a knife only. Great game.

 

will get a mate to put it in me computer and give it a go.

 

Played that on the PS4. We bought it for our 5 year old and I've played it to death. Finished it now though 100%.

 

Did u watch last nights episode of 'the Big Bang theory'? If u didn't u NEED too.

Personally after the amount of issues I had in the past with Xbox 360 reliability (2 failed) I would get a ps4. I think sony will win.

 

pc all the way,had xbox360 n about 30 games time i finished.
working that out, my own build pc cost much the same, barring the couple of decent games i have,and is far far more useful than a console.

only a cheap £500,air cooled fx350/hd7970 piped to my 42" telly,but plays skyrim full hd on ultra and company of heroes full settings and new vegas full settings, tbh theyre the only ones i play,mainly due to the stacks of free addons/ content available on nexus.

oh and then theres my xmbc setup.aaand the jukebox.list goes on.
