Hi new to the site. I have a 2017 Xdiavel, and want to connect my iPhone for sat nav, so i dont run out of charge. I have found a small connector below the right handlebar that says USB/GPS - its a small white connector that has two wrapped wires coming out of it. I can only assume this is to solder on a USB connector. Ideally ( as i am crap at electrics and dont own a solder iron) i want to but a simple USB port that connects directly into the white connector. Im sure this has been asked before but i cant find the answer or a link anywhere so i can buy one. Thanks in advance for your help.
Bully, sorry you got no replies. Did you sort this out? I got my son to connect a proper USB connector to those wires (Deutsch Plug) but the easier (no solder) option is to connect an aftermarket USB adaptor to the SAE battery tender connector coming from your battery.
As you suggest I had an aftermarket connector fitted to the battery booster connector from new. It works fine but twice I’ve had to replace the cable as it was pinched or split.
