As wonderful as my wish was for a Panigale for a track bike, it's stupid as I've not been on a track for over a decade and I know a slide is gonna happen eventually I think I'm fast, I know I'm slow. About the bike, it's not run in over a year, old oil, fuel, liquids. No battery, old tyres, unknown liquids age (including forks and seals)... It's a total lemon. I have seen it run though as I was the last one to ride and run it, which is when I discovered it was a bag of bolts and left it sat in the garage. Has anyone ever had this bike? My mechanical knowledge is basic, but I'm going to tackle an engine rebuild as I'd love to attempt this, front and rear suspension refresh and general maintenance. So any advice would be lovely!
I ran an R6 5EB for years as a track bike, was a great bike to me. I didnt have to do much with it so no mechanical expert on it but know about some of the good/bad/ugly. Still have a few odd bits sitting around can have rummage round garage, your welcome to any bits I have left (If I find them that is) but were only taking some small bits now I think
