  1. Blimey. Top money for a cat c? There was me thinking it may be a cheap trackday bike :Banghead::eek:

  2. I got offered it at £3500 but I worked out it was gonna cost £4K to make it nearly right using eBay parts. The headstock was bent and had snapped lockstops too. It wasn't worth the risk and trouble as I thought it's worth maybe £9k fixed at most. Not the £12k they want.

I only paid £13350 for it brand new.

  3. Makes you wonder if its the same bike...or just same reg...

  4. It's same bike as there's a slight scratch on the bottom of the fork that's been left.

  5. If the headstock is bent, surely even the most uneducated buyer would notice? And was the frame straight then? Your description is of a B not a C!!

  6. It doesn't really have a frame obviously but the headstock was twisted a bit and the bars hit the tank. It was hit from the left by a car and ended up on the right hand side.

  7. Yeah I meant the headstock, its about as much frame as there is!

  8. Yeh it was slightly out. You could see it from above and was confirmed when they did the estimates.

The engine running with no oil was my biggest concern of I'm honest.

  9. 1500 miles when you wrote it off but stated as 900 miles on the advert

That could be an mileage error but its waaaay over priced anyway

  10. Yeh I agree. Bet they've spent a fair bit to get it right though. As even though it wasn't "that" bad , it did have lots of parts damaged but mainly scratches

  11. Like I say is it the same bike...could be a few put together

  13. I'm guessing new (or entire front swapped from another bike) clocks would take the mileage with them?

  14. I would be very surprised if the frame/air box was bent, maybe they put it down to get it written off ? The stops on yoke go first as a sort of buffer item but not heard of a frame bending on one and looking at your photos it doesn't look to have had a big enough impact, maybe wrong

  15. To be honest I didn't argue as I wanted it written off as wouldn't of trusted it again. Almost feel like giving them a call and asking some info about it to see what's said
