Hi all. Just found the site. I havent ridden for years but have always been in love with the original 916 since it came out in 94 so have just bought a 1995, 916 Monoposta, 18,000 miles. The bike is stunning, i feel like standing it in my living room on its paddock stand so i can sit and stare at it (and i would if my mrs would let me, haha). Perfect condition, been well and truly cared for but has been standing for over 13 months. Have had oil changed and plugs and will be ordering some belts as i believe they should be changed every couple of years (last done dec 2010)

We would all have our bikes on stands in the living room if space would allow, don't worry you are amongst friends here.
Dukes got and 848 and I've got a 748 but only half legal at the moment as mod 2 is next week eeek!! I've just sold my rs125! Yeah we will post up next time we head out that way and try and meet up!

It's also nice to know that I'm not the only one who wants to park my bike up in my lounge and stare at it, was a bit concerned u may think i was was strange, lol. Can i ask who you guys have taken insurance out with and if they are competitive on price!
Carol Nash, they went from reasonable in the first year to rediculous in the second.....so I told them to shove it, then they became very very competetive.
