hello there british brothers , yep i brought home my 748 from Britain but i'm aware that even tho the bike was serviced in britain and freshly passes a Mo,t after 1200 miles in three days the bike will need a new refreshment what do you think is better doing right now , as far as i can see at the moment the bike turn up well and is revving very good , but i noticed some tiny tears of oil in the basement of the vertical cilincer and the dashboard - miles , revving, and temperature instrument- loosen up maybe for vibrations ? but what concerns me the most is those tiny tears of oil in the vertical cilinder basement what would you do ? cheers to all
Check oil, clean out the disc holes if brake dust has built up. I've done that many years ago in one day 16+ hours ride for my own personal record, now I stick too below 500 in one day.
Oil collecting in the little ribs behind the vertical cylinder is very likely just from the breather valve, which is on the case just above the clutch cover. These often leak/weep a bit of oil which then collects where you have seen it.
Your oil leak can also be from the base gasket/ shim. There is an oilway that is not used on the desmo engines and it is sealed with an o ring in the gasket. That does fail and leaks oil out the back
