I’m considering the sale of my 1299S because I’ve now retired and the running costs of multiple Ducati’s is becoming a bit daft, and as I haven’t ridden this bike for a year now….I could also use the room in my garage. The last of the big twins may appreciate I guess, so if it doesn’t sell, hanging on to it could make medium-term sense. I’ve owned it from new and it has been looked after and serviced by the guys at On Yer Bike aka Ducati Aylesbury. As you can see from the pictures I love this bike and it really has not wanted for anything, you are welcome to phone Ducati Aylesbury and speak with Ian the workshop manager…he’ll give you a view of the condition of this bike. I have all my Ducati’s serviced there. I’m looking to sell this bike to the person who appreciates what this bike is and how much work and money has gone into making this a real standout 1299S….someone that will also cherish it and love it as I do. The bike was registered 30/10/2015 so it’s 8 and a half years old now Mileage is now 19,668, approximately 2,300 miles per year (192 miles per month) which is quite low in reality The big desmo service was completed at 14,384 miles by Paul at PG Performance. It has a Full service history. Annual Service was completed the 27th April and now has an MoT for 12 months. 2 new Rosso Corse IV’s have now been fitted. Full book pack, 2 keys and tools Full repaint, no decals and clearcoat, cost £1500 Full Akrapovic Titanium System @£4,500 + Sprint Air Filter Heat shielding applied to the underside of the fuel tank Bike Track fitted Lithium Battery Radiators have been removed and cleaned, end caps painted black Samco - Silicone cooling hoses Evotech Radiator covers Evotech brake & clutch levers Rizoma mirrors £400 Rizoma brake lever guard DP Fuel filler cap DP Race seat DP Brake & Clutch reservoirs DP rear brake reservoir DP Aluminium Clutch case slider DP rear number plate hanger DP Led indicators CNC Frame caps CNC Bleed nipple covers CNC Calliper spacers CNC oil cap CNC front axle sliders R&G Crash frame sliders Smoke tinted MRA screen Carbon fibre key surround Carbon fibre lower panels Carbon fibre Stator cases cover Carbon fibre heel guards Carbon fibre seat panels Carbon fibre inner air tubes Carbon fibre seat cowl Carbon Fibre hugger Carbon Fibre front sprocket cover Silent run front sprocket AEM rear wheel nut and cone Gold chain JTS quick change carrier Renthal Sprockets New rear wheel bearings Phone/Nav mount USB connection Dash screen protector R&G Rear stand Ducati indoor cover I have all the original parts that are included in the sale I’m looking in the region of £15,000 or near offer. If you can appreciate what this 1299S is and wish to come over and view it you are most welcome. PM me for access to my DropBox pictures and my mobile number. Don’t forget…no test rides unless I have full cleared funds and you take out insurance and provide proof thereof. Many thanks T
Thanks Raphael, hope you’re well bud? Long time since we last met up…I must make an effort to join up with you guys soon. If you hear of anyone looking there could be a drink in it for you
Tony, please can I ask for some advice. In June I will be relocating from Australia to the Amersham area with my Panigale that is still under manufacturer warranty. My reading of your post is that you have had a good experience with On Yer Bike/Ducati Aylesbury. Any other options in the area? Many thanks, Ben
As also a very good independent factory trained guy in Barnet herts that’s not to far away called desmo shed
theres myself and @Expat Jack not far from your new locale. folks that i use include geoff baines and ian rhodes (RPM) in the silverstone area both have been really good in my experience but i dont think of any use until your bike is out of warranty drop us a line when you arrive in the 'hood
Thank you both for taking the time to reply, I appreciate it. I'll certainly get in touch once settled in. In the meantime, I hope the bike finds a deserving new home. Best wishes.

hi Ben, my first choice is always the guys at OYB…always had great service and support from them. Many years ago in my 916/996 days I used Bains at Silverstone, great service and very knowledgeable. Hope this helps. Cheers T
“Update” Today the annual service and MoT for 12 months has been done. Bike has two new tyres. Ready to roll…just need a new owner.!
