1098s Cutting Out Under 5500rpm

  1. Hi guys
    first time user
    1098s has an intermittent fault under 5500rpm
    Iv'e looked at downloading the JP Ducati software
    where do I find the ECU info to register with JP
    I thought i'd start by resetting the TPS

  4. You need the leads connected to the diagnostic port and JPDiag running to read the ECU serial number from which the licence is generated.

    Got JPDIAG initial setup to operate
    Send the ECU serial #, etc.
    Still waiting on the unlock key

    Never mind
    Fault has cleared
    I'm thinking it was just bad fuel
    Thrashed it over the weekend. Didn't miss a beat
