  1. Could someone measure the OEM gear shift link rod from centre of eye to centre of eye, please.

  8. The spare i think Ive got isnt where i thought it was.
    Just had a rough measure of the one on my bike its about 7.5ins.
    I'll have lookee round lockup tomoz. Keith.

  13. Sorry Keith, my cousin is 'Ken' and he looks a bit like yourself........

    Your one looks thinner than mine did - mine wasn't 'waisted' - can you let me know what the thin part OD is please?

    I am looking for an adjustable brake link rod which don't exist for this HD, so it is either modify the existing one (which I don't want to do) or butcher something like a Ducati one. The HD OEM one is pretty hefty, about 11mm diameter.

    Wouldn't it be easier to make one from scratch - bit of alloy bar plus 2 rose joints?
