I've been lurking around for a while and have finally been brave enough to post. I ride a 900ss, a real one, Black and gold 1979. She's had quite a bit of work done to her over the last couple of years. The prices of bevel drives seem to be going sky high and I am thinking of going a bit more modern ........
I dont want to start an argument like the one between the 1991-97 carbies vs 1998 onwards ie models but speaking as someone who had a 1976 900ss I think you`ll find real bevel production stopped in 1978 ? Just sayin......
Why should I rise to the bait ? You are right 750 SS and Silver/ Blue 900SS produced up to 1978, the round cased ones finished before ? The 900 SS Black & Gold until 1980 and then the 900 S2. Pictures coming when I find / take some. Must go I have another high calorie dish waiting for me
