Plug For The Power Socket Under The 2012 Multistrada Seat ?

  1. I'm looking to install a wiring loom from one of the 2 power outlets under the seat on my Multistrada to the handle bars for a sat nav. Could someone tell me what plug I need to buy ? Many thanks, Andy

  2. I bought one of the din plugs, googled 'BMW power plug' as it's the same. :)

  7. Yes really. It's item 8 in this picture.

    You shouldn't even need to take the tank off. You should be able to access it by removing the small cover below the tank. There should be a plug and socket with the pigtails on the plug insulated with sleeving, unless a previous owner has removed the plug. You can solder your satnav cable to the pigtail.
    Much better than mucking about with cables plugged in under the seat.
