Hello can anyone tell me what the switch on the rear of the 1000 ds engine is ? its in a recessed hole behind the suspension connected to 1 single black wire and cuts out the engine when removed. Cheers
thanks its a bit corroded like most of the electrics on my daily rider multistrada and i noticed the engine cutting out if i even touched it , still in better shape than the wireing on the rectifyer that turned itself into green goo or the constant earth problems lol. another little thing i can fix thanks for your help
Also worth having a look at the sidestand switch if it's a daily. Make sure the sidestand bolts are secure and the sidestand switch electrical's are well protected/coated
Thanks for your advice, if anyone can point out the earth points on the multi 1000ds & any advice adding earths would be a great help, winter & road salt have been hard on the multi's electrics
