Hey My T9 red flashing light at the top of the dash has been going 24hrs now, is this normal? It's on an optimate, not sure if that makes a difference? Cheers
Did you turn the ignition on and off recently? I think mine does it too, which is to show that the immobiliser is active. My flashing light turns off after approx 24hrs (i think)
CR, the repair manual states that the "gear change indicator 2 flashes every 1.6 seconds to indicate the immobilizer is active. After 24 hours the warning light is deactivated to prevent draining the battery. The same LED displays immobilizer system errors by flashing in a special code"
Same on my old multi, if I hadn't ridden it for a few days I'd go in the garage and the light wasn't flashing. First time I saw it I thought the battery had gone but it seems to but into some led sleep light mode after a while. Nothing to worry about.
