There was something on here not very long ago saying that the same sprag clutch is fitted to another make of bike and is much cheaper from them than from Ducati. KTM perhaps??

If it`s just the spring on the sprag bearing that has gone weak then try one of these SPRING FOR DUCATI SPRAG STARTER CLUTCH / SPRAG BEARING SPRING NEW made in uk | eBay I replaced mine over a year ago and it works fine.
If your changing the sprag youll need to open the case and relace the silicon gasket when putting it back togeather.. DONT BOTHER! buy the gasket from Exige as its way less messy and more reliable
thats a good idea but I think if I am going to strip it for the spring I may as well put the sprag in thanks though
