I have just completed a nut and bolt restoration of this Supersport 900 i.e over the last 18 months and I am now selling it to someone to enjoy it and to find another project. I haven't advertised anywhere else as I would like this bike to go to someone in here who loves these bikes. I have spent quite a lot to get this bike as near to a new bike as possible and I have more than 100 photos of the works I have gone through during the rebuild which I'm happy to share. The bike has 15000 miles, service history, two keys, 7 previous owners and ULEZ exempt. Brake discs: refurbished front discs with new fully floating discs buttons Brake calipers: front and rear calipers dismantled cleaned and all seals replaced , new stainless steel bolts fitted, bleed nipples, new brake pads front and rear New front and rear stainless steel oil lines New brake and clutch levers, new Domino Grips New Brake and clutch fluid DOT4 New slave clutch cylinder seals and dust cover Clutch: New clutch discs, new lightweight clutch basket, new red Ducabike clutch pusher plate, new springs, carbon clutch cover Engine: Powder coated heads and cylinders, new head bearings, new valve seals, polished exhaust and intake ports, polished valves, lapped valve seats, new o-rings throughout the top end, bottom end engine repainted, new exhaust gaskets seals, new exhaust studs and nuts, new started motor seal, new cambelts, valve clearance checked and within specs Transmission: New sprocket kits with original ratio, New DID gold chain, new carrier bearings New oil filter, air filter, spark plugs, new battery. Very nicely done, that’s a credit to you I own an earlier carbed 900 and these later ones started out as MARMITE bikes, the styling was either loved or hated, but when ridden they are absolutely amazing and better than a standard carbed one I think they are going to be a great choice as an investment bike to use and ride, just look how the 999 turned out

Happy new year everybody. The 749 has been sold, so now I have some little space in the garage. The Supersport and 1098 are next. Next project probably the older shape SS, we'll see what comes up.
