  5. Is it mot'd and road worthy? If not £500 area.
     
  6. Currently no but could be easily enough.
     
  7. My DR was a bit less disirable but sold for 500 without mot, needed maybe 100 to sort it, and I bought it for 800 fully mot'd. I was looking at XL and in ok cond with mot and running well seems 1500-2k, scruffy woth mot around a grand and anything below for non mot
     
  8. Christ, that's high. Dad was 50yr panel beater/sprayer so cleaned it up very tidy.
     
  9. Its all about age. Anything that was the new/bright/first thung for bikes and cars in the late 70's to late 80's is popular because the fellas who rode/drove/had pics on their walls have disposable income now and wamt to relive their youth.

    Its why you cant buy a good Escort for under 20k (unless you are a Labour MP ;) )

  10. I paid £650 for this one but I had to register it for the road , it's a 1983 model XL250R.

  12. twinshock and learner legal gives it its value. twinshock crossers and enduro bikes are going for crazy money.

  13. Just over twelve months ago, it took a couple of months to get it Road registered and the tax is due at the end of this month.
