The 1199 pegs are horrific, anything is better. To start with I convinced myself that as long as it was dry then they were fine as they seemed to be ok, but after a few slips on track and then trying new ones I chucked them in the bin.
Does anyone else get slighly numb toes from vibes on their 1299? Im running DP rearsets which are shorter than the oem ones. Which I note are like the 1098r ones and a damn sight better than the shitty oem ones on my 1198 which were slippery.
Slight post hijack, but has anyone tried these adjustable pegs from Gilles? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ST303-GI...299-959-899-FOOT-PEGS-/351640230253#vi-ilComp They look a bit better than the Wunderlich Vario offering and might give a bit more leg room. Don't know if they are available in the UK.
Thanks Rob, it was the adjustable bit I was wondering about (although the pegs look a distinct improvement on the OEM bananas!).
