1199 Panigale Footpeg Mod

The 1199 pegs are horrific, anything is better. To start with I convinced myself that as long as it was dry then they were fine as they seemed to be ok, but after a few slips on track and then trying new ones I chucked them in the bin.

My Gen 2 Paingale R appears to have the 1299 ones.

 

Does anyone else get slighly numb toes from vibes on their 1299? Im running DP rearsets which are shorter than the oem ones. Which I note are like the 1098r ones and a damn sight better than the shitty oem ones on my 1198 which were slippery.

 

I hear that yellow Ducatis come with these as standard. They do look a little slippery tbh.

They look a bit better than the Wunderlich Vario offering and might give a bit more leg room. Don't know if they are available in the UK.

I have the full Gilles VCR rear sets on my 1098R, which use the same footpegs. No complaints.

 

Thanks Rob, it was the adjustable bit I was wondering about (although the pegs look a distinct improvement on the OEM bananas!).
