  1. Fired up very reluctantly

  2. You recon second plug will clear itself?

  3. i guess as long as its running, get the bike up to temp and take it for a ride to try and clear any surface build up, have you added a little fuel cleaner to the tank? might help as long as you are taking it out for a ride

  4. Just took her out. Took a while to start, 100% running in 1 cylinder. No power at all. Gonna try to take front apart next week end ! Have to get to that front plug...

  5. thanks... will need any help I can get!

  6. Yes Nathan thanks for the manual, a nice version.

  7. All that to change a plug ???

  8. And I thought filling the cooling system via the radiator cap on an 1198 was a pita!

Few bolts ( easy ones ) left to do but getting dark and started raining so I called it a day. Will finish off tomorrow morning and fire it up . Better fucking work after all that effort.
Here are the plugs I pulled out

  12. By the way. I didn’t have to take rads off the bike. I took off radiator holder and managed to rotate upper rad slightly so I could get to plug with 3inch socket extension. Anything longer would be way too long

  13. After putting all the tools away just now and putting left over bolts on one side I ended up with this long screw on the floor. I don’t remember pulling it out of the bike. Anyone recognise what can it be? I am hoping it’s just fall out of my tool box as I have no idea where it could have come from on the bike?

  14. Do you have sliders/frame mushrooms fitted?

  15. Nope

  16. fan housing screw?

  17. yes, I had to take fan housing off the bike, but I don't remember taking this screw out? where in fan housing it would be from?

  18. without looking at my own bike, you split the fan housing, and there are screws used to secure the 2 halves, maybe one of them, or the flaps on the top on the fan shroud have a long metal part to them..
